The word 'Un Abri' means a SHELTER and our name sums up our objective: to provide a shelter under which overseas home buyers in the North of France can locate and purchase a property efficiently, enjoyably and safely.

We are the only British-owned Estate Agency operating in the north of France which has a "Carte Professionnelle Transactions Sur Immeubles Et Fonds De Commerce".

This means we are legally registered and recognised by the French authorities as competent to directly carry out negotiations between vendors and buyers.

We are directly instructed by the vendors of all the properties on our books and therefore we have complete control over negotiations.

All our staff are bilingual and we serve both French and overseas clients which gives us an intimate knowledge of the local community, market trends and the pros and cons of particular villages and districts.

We also have a clear understanding of the differing psychology of our overseas and French clients. This is particularly important as they often view the ownership and disposal of property in a very different way. We are here to bridge the two cultures and ensure that both buyer and vendor clearly understand and accommodate each other's demands.
